Join the fight against extreme poverty in Uganda’s most disadvantaged region.

Poverty remains a harsh and tragic reality across sub-Saharan Africa, but in Uganda, no region suffers more than Busoga. According to the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (2020/2022 updated report), Busoga is still ranked as the poorest of the poor – an unacceptable violation of human dignity and potential.
Donate now to fight extreme poverty in Uganda’s most impoverished region.
Being born into extreme poverty should never define a child’s destiny. In Busoga, poverty strips entire communities of hope and creates cycles of generational suffering that continue without urgent, transformative action.
Your support can help break these chains of poverty and build a future where every child, family, and community thrives.
Being regarded as the poorest of the poor in a poverty-stricken area in sub-Saharan Africa is truly humbling.
Sub-Saharan Africa is widely regarded as the poorest region on Earth – burdened with the highest rates of illiteracy and the lowest standards of living. Within this region lies Uganda – a small, landlocked country where over 41% of people live in extreme poverty. Within Uganda itself is a region so deprived it sits at the very bottom rung of the nation’s socio-economic ladder.
We are determined to turn that narrative around—with dignity, opportunity, and lasting change—because poverty should never define a people.
