Governance structures that ensure accountability, transparency, and responsible stewardship.
Accountability as Infrastructure
Baino Social Impact operates within formal legal and regulatory frameworks designed to ensure accountability, transparency, and responsible stewardship of resources. Accreditation is not a signal of virtue, but a system of oversight that protects our mission, our partners, and the communities we serve.
Baino Social Impact is incorporated under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (NFP Act). This incorporation establishes our governance obligations, reporting requirements, and fiduciary responsibilities within an internationally recognized regulatory framework.
We are also officially registered as a Non-Profit Organisation with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau, in accordance with Section 18(3) of the Companies Act, 2012. This registration affirms our legal standing and operational legitimacy within Uganda.
Together, these accreditations ensure that Baino operates with clarity of purpose, legal compliance, and financial accountability across jurisdictions. They provide the structural safeguards required to manage resources responsibly, sustain trust, and support long-term work focused on education, dignity, and durable progress.
